Such a hidden gem! Food and service all great. 10 for breakfast including soup, rice, and 6 side dishes is incredible. 12.99 for SoonDae soup was great as well. Grilled fish (GaJaMi) tasted great without any fish smell. They said they dried them on their own. Server was very attentive to check if we would need any side dishes, like she was reading my mind. They had a very welcoming ambiance, Juhng in Korean, that they really want to feed customers well with the highest care they show, even to strangers. I appreciate feeling that welcome from Korean restaurants, but not all Korean restaurants offer that welcoming feeling. Their open time 7am also helped a lot, as waiting until 9am to have breakfast starves me. It's a small restaurant with 4-5 tables. The chef and server made it so nice and warm. I took my spouse here for their birthday and ate there several times during my last visit to LA. I will definitely want to go back here next time I would be around. Please stay strong and have this business for a long time.

Extremely cozy and comforting place to eat. We shared the spinach soup breakfast. Everything was delicious. We ate 2 of all the little sides and the eggs, the simple fried eggs were like eating an egg for the first time. This is a special place.

Don Don Lee 골목식당 feels like stumbling upon a secret spot that only locals know about a true hidden gem in Koreatown. The vibe here screams 할머니 집밥 Grandma's home cooked meal straight out of Korea, and as soon as you step in, you're transported to a cozy little nook in the motherland. The place is small, with just four tables, but that only adds to the charm. You know you've struck gold when the banchan side dishes are better than i expected, and Don Don Lee does not disappoint. I tried their soondae soup, which was on sale for just 12.99 a steal compared to most spots in LA. The flavor? Unreal. It tasted like I was back in Korea, slurping soup at a tiny corner spot. The portions were massive, loaded with generous chunks of meat, and left me in a happy food coma. Next time, I'm definitely coming back for their soondae plate and bringing friends to share the experience. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food and that nostalgic "home away from home" feeling, this is the spot. Highly recommend!!!

It is a small mom and pop kind of shop with 5 tables. Servers were really nice and they have English menu if you need one. I got the soon dae stew, steamed mandu(dumplings) and spicy pork bulgogi. The steamed mandu are definitely home made and they were huge! Every dishes were all delicious and it's the one restaurant where food didn't taste overly salty. They give you a separate seasoning to add if you like your dishes saltier. I liked that the soon dae stew came with the soon dae on the side instead of inside the stew! I was so full by the end I was sad I couldn't finish all the side dishes with my small stomach space.

Had seaweed soup for breakfast here for 12 cash, no tax. Can't beat this deal anywhere with all the sides. The broth was rich and savoury, sides were all delicious. Awesome place.

Small family restaurant, the lady was very friendly, foods were excellent and decent price. Breakfast package 10 was very good deal but we arrived past 10:00 am, so we didn’t get to try them. Highly recommended.

OMG I loved the experience. Heaven bless this sweet, nostalgic restaurant. The Korean lady who served me was very friendly and caring, the atmosphere reminded me of family. I tried their breakfast with seaweed soup and the food was delicious. The side dishes are homemade and have many varieties. 100% recommend
